How it works
How RingThru works
A daily check-in call, set up once, that keeps working for your family every day after.
Setting it up, once
- 1
Tell us about your parent, and choose who calls
Name, phone number with its country code, preferred language, and a few personality notes — what they like to talk about, what to avoid. Then pick who makes the call: our AI companion, or a real person from our vetted team. Takes about 5 minutes.
- 2
Set medication times and a call schedule
Add medication names and times if relevant, and pick a daily call time between 7am and 9pm in your parent's local time. You can pause calls any day — for hospital visits, travel, or anything else.
The one choice worth thinking about is who actually makes the call. Both options follow the same daily rhythm and send you the same summary.

- Matched on language, role, and what your parent likes to talk about

Tell us your parent’s language when you join the waitlist. If it isn’t on this list at all, say so anyway — the list grows with the families who ask.
Consent comes first
Your parent needs to know they’ll be receiving these calls, and that a summary is shared with you afterwards. An AI companion call is transcribed as text — never recorded as audio in this version — to produce that summary. A real-person call isn’t transcribed at all; the companion writes the summary themselves.
The AI companion always introduces itself as an AI companion arranged by the family. It never pretends to be a person.
A real-person companion introduces themselves by name, and says the call was arranged by your family.
Either way, whoever calls never asks for money, bank details, or an OTP.
What happens every day
- 3
The call comes, every day
A warm, natural conversation, in your parent's language, picking up from the day before — medication taken, how they're feeling, anything they mentioned wanting to do.
- 4
You get a same-day summary
Mood, a short summary of the conversation, medication status if applicable, and an urgent flag with your emergency contact shown if anything needs immediate attention.
