How credits work
One credit is one completed conversation. A daily call for a month is about 30 credits, so you can picture the cost before it ever exists.
How much do calls from a real person cost?
More credits than an AI call, because it's a person's time rather than a phone line. We'll publish the exact number when the option opens, and no beta family will have a real-person call placed — or credits spent on one — without agreeing to it first.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Request more at any time from your settings page — we'll top you up during the beta. Calls pause rather than failing silently, and you're told before that happens.
Will you start charging without telling me?
No. We plan to introduce affordable credit packs after the beta, once we've validated the product with real families. Nothing changes on your account without a clear heads-up first.
Do I pay for calls that don't connect?
No. A credit is only used for a completed call. If your parent's phone is switched off or the call fails, nothing is deducted.
