Terms of service
Last updated: September 2026
This is a plain-language draft written for the beta launch, not legal advice. It will be reviewed by a lawyer before the beta widens.
The service
RingThru arranges scheduled AI voice companion calls and, where available, calls from vetted human companions to a phone number you provide, on your behalf and with the called person’s consent. It is a companionship and check-in tool, not a medical device or emergency response service.
Not medical advice
Neither the AI companion nor a human companion provides medical advice, and neither will ever ask for money, OTPs, or bank details. Nurses on our roster offer general wellness check-ins, not diagnosis or treatment. If a call suggests a possible emergency, we notify you immediately — but you remain responsible for arranging appropriate medical care.
Beta status
The service is in active beta. Features, pricing, and free credits may change; we’ll always give you clear notice before anything affects your account.
Your responsibilities
You confirm you have the right to arrange these calls on behalf of the person being called, and that they have consented to receive them.
Availability
The beta is open to families anywhere in the world, and we take waitlist entries from everywhere. Coverage for a specific phone number is confirmed during onboarding, before any call is placed — if we can’t reach your parent’s number yet, we’ll tell you rather than charge you for it.
